Mahjong anyone?

Just a note to let everyone know that I've been invited to participate in the World Series of Mahjong competition! I leave home to catch the ferry to Macau in just a few minutes. Wish me luck ;-)

I haven't been over to Macau for a very long time. Casinos and casino gambling don't interest me. It will be interesting to see how it has changed, and if it has changed for the better. I suspect that a lot of culture and history has been lost which would be a shame. Glass and aluminium can become boring very quickly.

Cheers all.

I guess you look at the game from a cultural point of view then there's a lot to contemplate about. My folks used to tell me that folks pick their son-in-law over mahjong table, where people show their real personality.

the competition will be on again next year. the tournament will probably get bigger every year.

I find it quite funny that you can play mahjong, even well enough to enter an international competition :D
You really take the Chinese culture to the full don't you?
Be careful don't turn into a 賭鬼啊!!!
